Mechanical Engineer

Conbit is actively looking for a Mechanical Engineer for his High Tech Business Unit. In this division we will focus on the design and supply of lifting and handling tools for the high-tech industry. The services include design, re-design, modifications, fabrication, assembly, testing, delivery, certifying, maintenance and repair of a variety of lifting and handling tools. The division will become a part of the Conbit brand having its branch in the Eindhoven office.

Manager Mechanical Engineering

Key Result Areas

To work out new transport, handling, and lifting tools using 2D and 3D;
To develop new transport, handling, and lifting tools in compliance with client requirements;
To advise on assembly within the cleanroom;
To utilize the knowledge and experience of the supply chain for Design and Assembly;
To support the cleanroom team within the assembly process.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Secondary vocational education or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Mechatronics;
Fluent spoken and written skills in Dutch and English;
Good active knowledge of IT applications such as:

2D/3D CAD (NX, Inventor)

Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar position;
Experience as a Draftsman, Mechanical Engineer, Project Engineer, or Structural Engineer within special machinery development;
A background in the design of production of special machinery.
